Sure Signal not visible

I have tried my V3 sure signal box on several routers now.  A BT home hub 4, a netgear wndr3400 and a virgin media superhub.  None of these three hubs can see the Sure signal box when it is connected to the router via ethernet cable.  I have used various ethernet cables new and old, long and short and to no avail.  Serial 40132623154

Please help me because I'm literally going crazy with this thing.  I've followed every port forwarding guide in the world to get this thing running and as yet nothing.

When connected the sure signal has a flashing red and a continous orange phone symbol, I've have addressed this issue with the portforward instructions for all three routers but to no avail once more.  I'm concerned the device itself is faulty.

if the orange light next to the Ethernet cable comes on when the device is plugged in but then goes off, regardless of how many different routers/cables you use to test it on, is the sure signal device faulty?

Ben,

It hasn't helped at all because the device has no connectivity between itself and the router. The orange light next to the Ethernet port is always off
