Hi Headjog,
Unfortunately there isn't much that can be done without returning the unit to Vodafone for repair.
The easiest way would be to take it to your local Vodafone shop for them to deal with.
If that isn't practical, you can post it by contacting the support teams by phone or by Live Chat
http://www.vodafone.co.uk/contact-us/index.htm
The Live Chat appears to be very busy at the present time, so 191 on your mobile or 03333 040 191 on your landline may be quicker.
The Sure Signal is under warranty for 24 months. Repairs are chargeable outside of the warranty period.
Regards,
Mike.

Thanks Mike, I appreciate the reply
I will return the faulty unit to my local store.
Fortunately I have a spare unit -
Unfortunately it is not working!
It is saying registered on my vodafone but I'm just getting a power light and one flashing light - it has been plugged in for an hour now - I guess i have to wait a while longer?

@cineriv is spot on with what to do with the SureSignal without any lights at all
The solid power light and a flashing signal light indicates the SureSignl is initialising which can take up to six hours.
If this amount of time has passed, please check the following ports in your router settings:
Ports to be opened for forwarding
IP addresses to be allowed on the router & firewall
If this still hasn't resulted in a signal to your phone, please post the serial number and we'll take a look.
