Solution

Sure Signal problem unresolved

After much fiddling and adjusting of router settings, power cycling, lead changing, rebooting and the rest, it's obvious that the Sure Signal won't work with the Netgear DGND 3700 router. It's almost certainly because the Sure Signal is designed to work with PPPoA networks where I'm on PPPoE. It's being returned tomorrow and I have to search for another solution. So if you have the same combination, don't waste your time - send it back!

But it does work, like i tried to explain to you in another post.

I guess you cant help those who dont want to be helped.

Your 'solution' was: "I connected my sure signal to an apple airport base station, which in turn wirelessly connects to an apple time capsule which connects via ethernet to my netgear router." I don't have an airport base station or time capsule though, so my position remains the same as yours was before you announced your (expensive if you don't already have the kit) solution. I am curious though; why did you find the need to make the comment about not wanting to be helped after I have followed a 19 post string, to no avail? Seemed a touch sarcastic, unless I'm misunderstanding something?
