Hello,
I've had my Sure Signal for years now. Worked fine.
The last few weeks it has just had the 2 flashing lights.including thew red flashing light.
I've tried turning it off/on again - not helped.
Tried the reset procedure. No help.
Tried calling Vodafone - they advised they reset the vpn connection at their end. No help.
I've reset it again. No help.
Just the two lights flashing.
I've not made any broadband or firewall changes. It's worked fine for 2 years.
Can you help please?

That can't be right! What were you checking the serial?
It's been fine for the last 2-3 years but then stopped working the last 2 weeks.
I can confidently say it was working last month no issues at all. Full 5 bars and full 3g.
How do i do the deregister/register?

Hi JohnAdams101,
I’ve double checked the serial number that you posted above and this has definitely not updated since July 2012.
To deregister this, you just need to log into your My Vodafone account and go to ‘Manage my Sure Signal’.
Thanks
Jenny

I have deregistered and registered sucessfully.
I've also factory reset the device.
I'll leave it a short while now - could you recheck if it has contacted your servers since this reregistering (and also confirm that you can see the reregistering).
Thanks.

Wasn't working this morning when i checked - same lights flashing.
Please could you advise what you see at your end and what to do next?
Thanks.

Hi JohnAdams101,
It's still showing it last updated on the 22/07/2012, It's not something I've seen happen before.
Can you try the Sure Signal on a different Internet connection (at a friend or family members house) to see if it works? We need to determine if it's possibly a fault with the Sure Signal itself.
Thanks,
Kay

Thank you for your ongoing help.
I'm really unable to do this unfortunately. I can say my box has definitely been working up until about 2 weeks ago and definitely nothing changed on my router/broadband. (BT broadband but netgear third party router).
Is it possible to reset again at your end or any further troubleshooting? I appreciate why the question is being asked but it's not possible for me to do this testing on a different internet connection.
Look forward to hearing back from you.
