Hi,
Having loads of trouble with my wife's Sure Signal box. Problems range from power light only on, to power light on with system light flashing (for days on end!). I have tried:
I like to think that I am fairly IT literate, but this thing is on the verge of beating me (and my wife is on the verge of swapping to O2!!!).
Happy to provide serial numbers, MAC addresses etc via private message.
HELP!!
Thanks,
Nigel.

Well, it has now been working (on and off) for a little while, so I hope whatever the problem was has gone away! I'll mark this thread as "solved" and raise another message if there are future problems.

Looking through some of the other posts, I'm wondering if it needs a "forced re-sync" by you technical guys at Vodaphone?

Not good. The unit worked for a few hours last night, but now just the power light is on (constant), with no other lights showing on the unit. I'll run the tests above later today and post the results. Looks like no phone calls in the house again today. 😞

Well, the signal ready light has come on again about 5-10 mins after I posted the information above. If this is due to speedy Vodaphone Technical intervention, many thanks! If it's not (due to speedy Vodaphone Technical intervention), guess I'm just lucky!
I'll continue to monitor the units performance and post again here if any problems.
Thanks.

Hi NippyN,
Thanks for providing the information and also advising your Sure Signal is now working for you.
I’ve checked our systems and can see that your Sure Signal connected to our servers last night, so everything appears to be fine.
If you do need any further assistance, you know where we are.
Thanks
Andrew

Thanks Andrew. It connected last night, dropped off over-night, then sprang to life again this morning just after I posted the information above. Will come back to you again if any probs. Thanks for your assistance on all this - much appreciated!

Oh dear, all was looking good and it lasted approx three hours, then it started flashing all its lights (like it was re-starting the configuration process). Now it is just sat there with the power light on constant, but no other lights. It just seems that the unit itself is immensely tempremental?
What do we try next? Thanks.

Any thoughts on this at all Andrew? The unit is still in the same state - power light on / no other lights showing.
