Sure signal not working

Hi my sure signal stopped working about two weeks ago I think it's a v1 (4 lights on the front)

I get 2 lights light (power light and the @ light) up but nothing else and get no signal from my home with out it thought I would post here as a last resort as I asked in my local vodafone shop all they wanted to do was sell me a new sure signal this is realy starting to anoye me

Please help

Hi Vonblue,

It's likely that your power supply has degraded to the point where it can't provide enough power to the Sure Signal.

Don't rely on the first (power) being alight, that could be a red herring.

 

Replacement power supplies can be purchased from Amazon or Ebay and cost around £10 -12 inc. delevery.

Please take a look at our Sure Signal Troubleshooting thread. If this doesn’t resolve your query, please post your reply either below, or in the relevant thread, together with the details requested, including the following information:

 

  • The Sure Signal Serial number
  • The lights you're seeing on the Sure Signal
  • The results of a traceroute

VSS Traceroute command

    • On a PC:
    • Click on Start and select Run
    • Type CMD into the Run box and press enter/click ok
    • A black box will appear
    • In this box type tracert 212.183.133.177 press Enter
    • Paste the output of this command into your reply

 

This will help us get the quickest possible resolution for you.

Iv got a new power supply on the way I'll try that if that didn't fix it I'll pop the info u want up here and try something else
