I'm going to start a new thread, as my old one is saying it's resolved.
Anyway, I've now reconfigureed my router - Netgear DGDN3700 to assign a static IP to the VSS. I've also sorted the required port-forwarding configs.
It still won't connect.
here's the info requested previously.

Hi neillb,
We're just finishing compiling the trouble-shooter for the new v3 Sure Signal, which is why you're not seeing it here. Apologies for the confusion.
Also, don't worry if a thread shows "resolved" - we work off post alerts, so anything you add to the thread is still logged.
The details you provided all appear OK, but I can see that the Sure Signal has not yet connected with our systems. I've tried a resync at our end, so can you try a reset of the Sure Signal box? Just hold down the reset button on the base of the box for approximately 20-30 seconds until the lights go out.
Failing that, can you confirm a few things for me?
- Please check the Ethernet port lights are lit or flashing. If not, please try an alternate cable or port on the connected router.
- If you reboot the router and Sure Signal together (Power off the Sure Signal, then the router, fully reboot the router and finally restart the Sure Signal) does this help? If there is a failed connection between the two blocking things then this will help clear it.
- Can you check that the router's MTU is set to either 1500 or - if not possible - the highest available value.
Dave
If I've helped at all today, why not leave me a little feedback?

Thanks Dave - will try tonight
