Hi - I hope someone can help, a couple of weeks my suresignal stopped working, just had a flashing power light, vodafone couldnt find a problem and said I should check my internet connections etc, I am with Sky, I sent sky a message but havent had a reply but two nights ago my suresignal started working again, the only issue now is that when the sure signal is plugged in it knocks off the wifi on my laptap, it does it on two different laptops, I have no idea how to rectify this, I had the suresignal working for two months no problem and now its really playing up!
Thanks

Hello there
I have had a big problem with the sure signal device getting in the way of my wifi. I've tried every different wifi channel for my wifi router and the vodaphone sales say it doesn't effect wifi but it clearly and definitely does. It effects the wifi on my router, laptops and mobile phones.
The SS (sure signal device) also effects wired units. If you run everything through the SS as the instructions say to do if your router doesn't have multiple ports, the SS can effect the speed of any device behind it. I had constant drops in connection until I unplugged the SS device.
Currently I have removed my SS device and pluged it into another, wired router which is about 10 metres away from my wifi router. I keep my SS device unplugged and only plug it in when I work from a wired machine when I work from home. If I move the SS device away any further, I get almost no bars of signal - defeating the point of having a SS device. I even upgraded my wifi devices from Gs to Ns to try and improve this but it had no effect.
I have a 9361 Home Cell V2-V device. Are there newer or better models now? To be honest I'd rather get this defective thing refunded and get a newer model.

Hi Drowz0r
Thank you for your post and it is great to see you here.:smileyhappy:
Unfortunately there is not much more I can suggest with this other than ask you to move it further but that affects your signal.
So we can take a look at this for you I have sent you a Private Message as we may need to exchange the device.
You can find your PM inbox here.
Many Thanks

We have had the SS Box for a few mpnths now. When trying to connect a new netbook to the network. We are getting an internet connection but IE9 is not displaying pages, It stays on the BT home page. Have tried several times with no success. Can anyone help. If it is connected with a cable to the router it works.

Hi ThePoohs,
Thanks for your post!
Can you confirm that you’re able to use the Sure Signal with your phones and that it’s just your netbook that isn’t connecting?
You need to ensure that the Vodafone number for your netbook is registered, so please login to My Account and click on the My Sure Signal tab. The numbers you are trying to use must appear here as either an Owner or a User, in order to be able to connect to the Sure Signal. If the number you are trying to use does not appear here, you will need to click the "Add User" button and enter the new mobile number. This can only be done if you are the Owner or Admin of the Sure Signal.
Let me know how you get on.
Thanks,
Jenny

Hi Tech Team,
I am having similar problems. I live in an area where outside signal only is available so I got the sure signal box. When I connected it to my Sky Broadband router it worked fine but stopped all forms of wireless internet working in the house. I appreciate these things arent your kit to solve but everything else works fine when the sure signal box is not connected. For now I have disconnected it so I can hopefully gain some help though here. Below are the common details you guys seem to need:

It is the full length of the connecting cable which you supply. Not sure how long that is. They are sitting on the same table top. the length of the cable apart.

Same as The Poohs, my SS is the full cable length away from the router.
