Hi,
I would suggest....
- Check the storage memory to see if it's getting full which can cause the phone to lag. Remove old / rarely used items. Use drop box or a Sd card - handset dependant.
- Ensure the phone is on the latest firmware by looking in the software update section of the phones settings.
- If you have a stick on screen shield consider removing it.
- Soft reboot by turning the phone Off and On.
- Factory Reset after creating a back up to save your information.
- Engage with HTC Uk Support as they maybe able to guide you on more troubleshooting tips or arrange to have a look at it.
- Send it off via a Vodafone store if acquired via them. They apply a 24 month manufacturing warranty but does not cover issues caused by a drop or water damage.
Also make sure when sending your device for repair that you keep hold of your SIM. You also shouldn't send your memory cards, battery and/or back cover (if they're removable) - if these are included with your phone when it goes for repair we can't guarantee their return."
Tip :
Take Time / Date stamped pictures of the device to show the condition you sent it back in. One of it turned on. Ensure the Vodafone rep notes its condition on their system.
