I have seen lots of posts on how to run a Tracer Route on a PC for trouble shooting purposes with VSS.
How does one do it on a Mac?
Many thanks.

Hi djmaitla,
I believe (don't have access to a Mac at the moment to confirm this) you just open a terminal window and type traceroute <<servername>>

I have a Suresignal v1 device that has given flawless service for about 3 years. It recently stopped working. I have spoken with Vodafone Technical Support people at least 4 times in the past week and all types of resets etc have been tried but the problem remains. No Suresignal connection.
The device has been resynced, factory reset done x times, RJ45 cable replaced, different port on router used, ports opened and a permanent IP address assigned. I am using a MacPro with BT Inifinity 3 and this combo has worked for over a year. About a week ago disaster, no VSS.
Currently lights 1 and 2 come on and set solid, then light 4 flashes steadily for about a minute, never goes solid, then goes out, then all the lights go out. The power light then comes on, then 2 and eventually 4 flashing, and this pattern is repeated again and again. Eventually it settles down to only lights 1 and 2 on steady.
There have also been instances where connection between the router and the Sure Signal box appears to be lost in that the Mac address of the SS Device does not show as connected.
Last call to Technical Support it was suggested by the Technician that I take the Sure Signal Box to a Vodafone shop for testing. I have now discoverd that not all Vodafone shops offer a testing service. I am at my wits end. I feel that the issue could be related to some sort of failure in the network card of the suresignal device. An ideas?
