Transfering Number

I have recently transfered my number to a new contract with Vodafone, being told this process would take 24 hours. However, I am still unable to receive phone calls or text messages. I can make them (but not recieve them). 

 

I have spoken with several people using the chat service online but all have failed to fix my problem.

 

I use my mobile for work and it is vital I can recieve calls and messages, therefore if no one fixes this problem I will be forced to cancel my contract and look elsewhere.

 

Please can someone fix this problem now, as the service so far has been unacceptable.

You have what sounds like a split port, they normally sort themselves out. You could try turning your phone off for 20 minutes then back on, or try logging onto another network, it won't let you, then back onto Vodafone.

Hi, 

If this is still a problem after your port day then the best advice is to call 191, explain you have a split number port and ask to speak to the porting team. They're really good and will liaise with your previous network to get this sorted for you.
