Trying to transfer Sure Signal to a registered user

I am planning to close my Pay Monthly account shortly.  However, I want to keep my Sure Signal box as mobile reception is variable at home.  With this in mind, I have obtained a pay as you go Vodafone SIM, opened a My Vodafone account for this new PAYG number and registered my new SIM on my Sure Signal box.  All OK so far.

 

I then tried transferring ownership of my SS box to this "new user" (me !).  The first part of the transfer process worked fine and the option to accept ownership and register myself appeared in my PAYG account.  However, when I try and register, I get an error message with the codes 500 and 1013. 

 

I realise I coud de-register the box aand re-register it.  However having almost zero confidence in Vodafone (why I intend to close my Pay Monthly account and go elsewhere !) I would prefer to use the transfer option if at all possible

 

Any ideas ?

If you'd rather not de-register and register the Pay as you go line, please come and chat to us on Live help.

 

That way we can log in to your account remotely and check the transfer for you.
