I have tried to unlock my IPhone 6 twice, once I completed the online form myself and the second time someone from the online chat room did it for me and both times I have received an email to say that my IMIE number is invalid, however it is not. I need this phone unlocked urgently as the contract ended well over a year ago and I want to sell the phone on.

If the phone was supplied by Vodafone, then they should have the IMEI on record.

 

I have unlocked iPhone 4 that I had not connected to Vodafone for over 2 years. The number was still on my Account.

 

Most likely it was not registered correctly when you bought/upgraded the phone. You will have to persist with Live Chat.

Hopefully the forum team will be in touch to help you out if you don't have joy with Live Chat.
