I am currently in the USA and am here for the next 4/5months. Unfortuantely I lost my phone last week, to claim on my insurance I need the IMEI number on an email sent from vodafone. I have the IMEI number and have tried talking to people at vodafone to get them to sent me confirmation but they have refused, saying they do not send emails. I have an email confirming the phone make and model and contract details but I have no email which contains the IMEI number. My insurance company say they have received emails from vodafone forwarded by customers before and they only help they would give is that I contact vodafone again and get the number in an email. I have tried the live chat service, for some reason it always says its offline.
Please can you send me an email with this number on ASAP so I can process the claim. Any details you need please ask and I can provide them..
Regards,
Tom

To speak with Live help, please do this on a PC or laptop and not a phone - you need to leave the page open and they'll become available.
If you’re still having problems speaking with them, I’ve sent you a private message with instructions on how to get in touch so we can look into this further.
