Unstable Vodafone Broadband

Laterly I switched home broadband from SKY to Vodafone, found out it is not as stable as SKY. Connection to Youtube and Netflix got lost many times, sometimes even have to refresh couple of times to get their homepage open. And live chat app gets really crappy quality. A bit annoying and very frustrating. Anybody else has similar issues?

Hi,

How long has it been activated ? I ask as it can take 10-30 days to properly settle.

Ok just after the extreme of 30 days.

Are you wifi or Ethernet cable connected ?

Can you run a speed test.

I use the Ookla Speedtest option.

Can you try connecting via Ethernet and try that way.

What upload and download speeds and ping are you getting.

Please do also consider engaging with Broadband Tech via the number I provided.

As a telecom engineer, for me it seems very likely caused by traffic COS config on router, but not the Vodafone router at my home.

Ok.

I wish you a speedy resolution.

Hello User0609

The best way to have this looked into is to give our Broadband Technical Team a call on 08080 034 515 and we'll run further tests on this, and if necessary our team will arrange an engineer visit.
