I understand why you'd be unimpressed at the change in offer.
Unfortunately either the original offer was not valid or its changed and no longer available.
The Agents do care but can only offer what's showing on their systems.
If the Agent had made an error then even if you'd have given authorisation at the time it may not have gone through at the time.
There are two important end dates in a contract.
Early Upgrade Date.
Contract End Date.
If you contact Customer Services on 191 and Choose Thinking of Leaving when your close to your contract end date and ask for the Vodafone Retentions Department they maybe able to offer alternatives which can also be controlled on the make and model of phone wanted.
Alternatively you could try upgrading with an independent such as Cpw. But be 100% sure they Upgrade you and not take out a 2nd line. You'd become their customer with Vodafone providing the Network connection.
Tip > Some discounts such as employers VEA are not available if a person goes through an Upgrade and Vodafone Calling Over Wifi isn't currently available on eligible Samsung Galaxy phones too.
