Upgrading to iPhone 6 Plus

Hi there, I'm new to these forums and just wanted some quick advice. 

My two year contract has run out and I'm eligible for an upgrade. I haven't upgraded before and wanted to know the process. I want to get the iPhone 6 Plus and pre-order it for the 19th launch date. Do I just need to log into my Vodafone account and select upgrade on my phone number? I have seen the upgrades page, where they show phones to upgrade to, but will the iPhone 6 be here for pre-order tomorrow to upgrade to?

Or do I need to call Vodafone to upgrade via a pre-order?

You will be able to pre order from tomorrow both online, instore and on the phone.
