Thanks for your response. I followed the link and called customer services. After being passed around a bit, I got through to someone in pay as you go. He began to process the request up to the point he couldn't find the details on the system. At this point he spoke to the NUC team several times, who told him that the device cannot be unlocked by vodafone, and suggested I get it unlocked by a third party, which may invalidate any warranties. He also suggested I follow up with you on the forum.
Any further advice would be appreciated, I know that it is technically possible to unlock this device, so I don't understand why vodafone aren't willing to do this.
Customer services have put through the request in the mean time, but expect it to be rejected!!
