VFD 710 Phone went onto "speak to text",cannot get it to go back to type text

VFD 710,Have had many problems with this phone.It has now decided to only let me "speak to text"will not let me into type text.Contacted helpdesk,told it needs resetting to factory settings,would not let me do this as you cannot speak a password to get into reset it.After several days i got it to reset.Now the phone will not let me into anything.

When you say that you got the phone to "reset" - is that a Factory Reset  ?

If so you may need to key in your Google Account Credentials to be able to use the phone again with your back up info. 

If you get stuck then I'd suggest to call into a Vodafone High street Store where they should be able to help and guide you.
