I have only just installed this new version of SureSignal. It worked fine for a few days and my phone was showing 3G and white lights on the SureSignal. Then I got the flashing power light and the steady amber service and users lights.

Hi Guys,
@ semtex65 – I can see that this isn’t in the whitelist and I’ve requested for it to be added.
@ peleep – Can you try to lower the firewall settings on your router because I’ve seen a few instances where this has caused a problem with the version 3’s.
@ NWR – I’m glad to see that you’re up and running.
@ Everitt1984 – unfortunately we don’t have a list of compatible routers but as long as they have a built in bridge it will work.
The only other thing that I can suggest is to make sure that the router has uPnP enabled to help get the connection established.
If you can do this and then reset the Sure Signal again and also try a different connection if possible, it will help identify where the problem lies.

hi James. i do not have a firewall active.

Hi peleep,
Thanks for the information.
I’ve checked your serial number and can see that your Sure Signal last connected to our servers yesterday at 03:24, have the lights changed at all?
If you have a version 1 unit that works fine, it would suggest that the version 3 may be faulty. To confirm this, try it on a different internet connection (a family member, friend etc.).
If you do see exactly the same lights, then you’d need to send the Sure Signal for repair.
Hi London1987,
The light sequence that you’re seeing shows that your Sure Signal is being configured.
This process can take up to 6 hours. Once it’s completed, you should see steady power, internet and service lights.
If you’re not, can you post your Sure Signal serial number please so we can dig a little deeper?
Cheers,
Andrew
