Hi @Mark111

I’m glad to see everything is back up and running.

Hi @groovydad

Please make sure that the IPSEC setting has been selected on your router, if you’re unsure how to do this please contact your internet provider.

Once this has been done, please re set the Vodafone Sure Signal:

Perform a reset of the Sure Signal:

  1. Hold in the reset button until all lights go solid
  2. Pull the power lead out with the reset button still pushed in
  3. Continue to hold down the reset button and reconnect the power lead
  4. Wait for all lights to come on and then release the reset button

The Sure Signal will now try to contact the network and download its profile. This can take up to 6 hours.

Hi @tim1954 – Welcome to the eForum.

Please can you give me the light sequence you’re experiencing?

Cheers,

Laura

Hi Laura,

I found IPSEC - IKE which I assigned to the Sure Signal device.  Is this correct, I could not see any other IPSEC entries?

Also, as per my post, no matter how long I press the reset button, not all the lights go off, so I am not able to perform a full reset.

Thanks

Hi everyone,

@groovydad , @claptrap34@Bathgwa & @dws199  - I've had a look at your IP addresses in a bit more detail and can see they're not on our whitelist. I've requested for them to be added. Please leave your Sure Signal's switched on for 24 hours and do not reset them within this time. Once this time has passed, they should connect.

@tim1954 - Please try using an alternative Ethernet cable. This should help your Sure Signal connect.

Thanks,

Matt B

Have tried three already.....None work.

This piece of kit is going back to the shop for a refund.....

Thanks Matt

but 24 hours on it still doesn't work, still the same flashing power light etc.

What is next?

Nick

Solid red and the slowly flashing 'connecting' light.

Been like that for five days now despite a number of resets..... Is this normal?
