Hi,
I have done everything as suggested. I can confirm that on my LAN the Sure Signal is responsive to pings. I have run both in uPnP and adding firewall rules specifically for the ports mentioned.
Please can you confirm if you have seen any activity from:
IP Address: 5.64.227.35
VSS Serial No: 42151152461
Thanks, Jon

Sorry but my IP address has just changed to:
2.221.135.114
Please can you confirm if it's logged in. I've done new traceroutes which all terminate within Vodafone's Network. My speeds have increased.

Hi everyone,
@BlacKnight - You'll still need to speak to your ISP bout the packet loss. This isn't something we block internally.
@colin7 - I can't see why the Sure Signal wouldn't work as your results all look fine. I've pushed a resync through for you. To complete the action, please:
The unit will connect within one to six hours.
@ELLISJ1234 - Do Sky swap your IP over regularly? This may be why your Sure Signal struggles if it's a dynamic one.
Thanks,
Ben

Thanks Ben, but the VSS still is not working. VSS Serial No.: 42144624790 I followed your instructions (pressing the reset button rather than power as the Version 3 doesn't have a power button, so assumed you meant reset?) The device restarts with a solid power light and then the Internet light flashes slowly. After a minute or so it goes to the flashing power light and solid In Service and solid In Use lights. Please confirm what needs to be done next to get this to work. Thank you Colin

G'afternoon Vodafone and e-forumers,
I spoke with a neighbour this morning. They have five S.Sigs. two type 1 and three type 3. The type 3 have been giving trouble recently with this problem. The type 1 S.Sigs have been no trouble at all !!!.
We both receive our B/band signal by radio from the same relay station; they are 2.44km and we are 2.13km from that same relay.
I have had considerable conversation with my B/band supplier they can not find a problem. THere tracert log, directly to the fibre optic main, returns the same as mine via radio link!
It look as if S.Sigv1 is superior to S.Sigv3.
Response please - Vodafone.
Regards
D,Lox.

Hello Sukhi,
My router is:
EnGenius ESR1221N2 Ser.No. 40132605193
The combination has been working perfectly since Oct. 2013.
It still is otherwise I would not be writing this.
My S.Sig.v3 ceased working at lunchtime Sunday 3rd. May 2015.
It connected, for short time at 01.29 hr. 11th May. ( from Ben 14.41 hr. 11 May.
Something, somewhere, is O.K. but there is a lot of something not O.K. - but where?
Regards D.Lox

So, no joy testing the VSS elsewhere, just the same set of lights.
I guess that means taking it in for repair. Very unimpressed by all this, as we are dependent on a good phone signal for work.
