@NAshton - Thanks for posting your results. Your Sure Signal registration is still pending from 3 July. Which router and ISP are you using?

@samsurfer - Does this happen when you test the device in another power outlet?

Hi Ben_H

Yes, it behaves teh same whatever power socket I plug it into. Pressing reset has no effect however long it is held for. Releasing it causes the lighst to go out and eventually come back on.

Hi guys,

There does seem to be an enormous amount of confusion and mis communication about resetting the V3 Sure Signal.

This is the official way ........

For version 3 Sure Signal (the plug in version):

There are 3 stages of use for the reset button as follows:

  • Hold the reset button in for 5 seconds then release. This will result in a reset
  • Holding the button for 10 or more seconds will result in the sure signal being switched off.
  • The device can be turned back on by either pressing the reset button again or unplugging the device for 30 seconds and plugging it back in again

A full factory reset of a VSS will take anywhere between 20 minutes to six hours to complete and fully reconnect to the network.

Hope that helps.
