This thread has been created to discuss and troubleshoot the version 3 Sure Signal when the light sequence is as follows:
Cause
This light sequence indicates the Sure Signal's not active and it has been unable to authenticate on the Vodafone network
Troubleshooting
Please restart your Sure Signal. If the symptoms continue please add the following details to this thread:
Traceroute command:
On a PC:
On a Mac:
This will help us get the quickest possible resolution for you.

Hi @steele_k,
There are compatibility issues with the HomeHub 3. If you try the Sure Signal in a different property (family/friend's house), and it works, you'll need to speak with BT about getting a new router.

Thanks but I've tried that. An alternative router isn't available as I'm on a BT Business package. This was my last option to fix the woeful coverage so I'll need to switch to an alternative mobile operator.

its been working for a while as I used the plusnet modem and router. BUT the internet signal is unstable so trying the homehub again to see if its hardware. did as you suggested re smart setup and reset suresignal but still back to red light, nothing and two orange lights. hope you can help as I understand issue with plusnet and suresignal has now been sorted. regards

Hi, my Sure Signal hasn't been working for a few days now. I've tried resetting and unplugging etc but still the same problem.
