Very simple question VODAFONE Sharing Dock R101 related.

Greetings,

Running fine with this Sharing Dock. It's connecting my PC (Windows 7) and my Samsung Galaxy to the Internet.

I have a very simple question:

On Network when I click on Vodafone a pop-up comes up asking for credentials. What are these credentials?

Already tried: Admin + SSID but to no avail.

Much obliged.

Alex

Hi Munchausen,

Welcome ot the Vodafone eForum from all of the team. :Winking_smiley:

I must admit that you have me stumped on this one, I have just gone through both of the setup guides and the only reference that i can find to credentials is the login password for the setup site.

Can you confirm if this is happening when you are trying to connect to the network?

the reason that I ask is the credentials could be the SSID and the WPA2 key.

I would give this a go and let me know how you get on.

Thank you for the answer, James.

SSID and the WPA2 key didn't work out.

To make a clear point about this situation, I have to say all it's running fine concerning this dock. Nothing wrong with it. Both equipments (PC and android) talk to each other. I just wanted to have access to VODAFONE on Network.

See image, please.

If you have any more ideas, please do let me know.

Cheers,

Alex

Hi Munchausen

Thanks for your post back to us here.

Have you tried:

Username - Internet

Password - web

Give this a go and let me know how you get on.

Thanks

Dear Wayne, the answer is: nope 😞

Still no answer for this "simple" problem...

Thank you very much for your time.

Alex

Hi there Munchausen,

I've sought a little advice on this one as it has me stumped also. My contact isn't in the office right now so I expect to be back in the morning with more information.

Cheers,

Hi Munchausen,

As promised, I'm back with an update.

My contact had a look and noticed you've managed to create a domain called Merlin within your network.

The reason we've so far been unable to provide you with the correct answer is that the Merlin domain has its own username and password and it's something we could never have access to.

You'll need to input your own domain's username and password for this. If it's not that the username and password for your PC/Mac/laptop will be the answer.

Let me know how you get on.

Cheers,

Lee

Hi there,

Merlin is just the name of my computer and I tried to login as Administrator with no password (since I don't have one) and to no avail.

Back to stage 0.

Thank you.
