Hi jeffkinn
Its not about using the service, its a service supported by phone and should have been available to use it. What if in next 6 months this service goes free with all providers or what when wifi calling gets in but this service will be not available on the phone at that time if its not sorted now...

Hi jeffkinn
Are you trying to start an arguement with me on that, its not the matter what facilities from phone does network support but it the funtion which phone got and dissapeared due to Vodafone's firmware conflict.
Whether they support a facility/funtion but they can't remove it from phone unless its required by law.
If you buy a all in 1 printer with Fax anf your provider don't support it that doesnt mean they will barr or delet that function from the printer. It will still be there you just not able to use it.

If you are unable to have a discussion with differing viewpoints without perceiving it as an argument don't come to a public forum where people debate various issues.

Hi jeffkinn
It is not diffrent point of view but you were trying to defend Voda for their mistake. I'm not trying to blame Voda for it, mistakes happens and you learn from it. As far as I'm concerned Voda accepted their fault and agreed to fix it soon so I'm happy with it. I never compalined about their service. I'm very happy with the service I'm getting from them and they were always very supportive whenever I contacted them by any mode.
When you said about using diffrent services that was called diffrent opinions but if you say because a provider don't suppoer a service and it is ok to be removed from phone that I think is wrong and again what I said is my opinion and you should also acceptnthat if you are on a public forum....

Out of interest Ann S, that link says it's 45p if out of bundle. Do you know if that means that video calls come out of a bundle, and if so, it is voice or data?
Thanks

I believe that is standard terminology across all products and services. It is an out of bundle charge of 45p per minute.

@Vickiestixx I’m new to this thread, but from what I’ve read on here, vodafone DO support it. However on this handset there seems to be an issue with the firmware that they are addressing.
There is one other thing by the looks of things – you have to have video calling added to your account to be able to use it.
So if you have the S6 Edge, your issue will be firmware. If you have another handset and can’t make a video call, get your account checked and request that that service be provisioned for you.

You're welcome for the help earlier Dora72.
You're also quite correct in what you say. The issue is with the Vodafone branded devices and the firmware on them. I have an unbranded S6 edge and the option to make video calls is there.
