Hi there,
Im looking at vodafone connect(home braodband) but currently the service checkder is saying that the service is unavabile in my area curretnly I have SKY fibre so my exchage has FTTC when i put my postcode in it says not avaible(SK148PA) but if I put SK148LZ which is the post code for the street side cab(FTTC) is says that they can have it........ Now I'm at a loss. could some one help out here?

The BT DSL checker (which gives more detailed access to the broadband availability database most prodivers use) is showing your postcode (and the one you list for the cab) can only receive ADSL 2+ and isn't set up for FTTC.
Doing a bit more digging on the Openreach website it looks like the Mottram exchange that services your postcode is under "High Demand" so they are not accepting any new orders at the present time.
It may be worth giving the Vodafone broadband team a call (08080 034 511) and explaining the situation, since you are already a Fibre customer of another provider there wouldn't really be any new capacity needed so they might be able to arrange something, that's pure speculation though, i've never come across the situation myself before so not sure what can/can't be done.
