Vodafone Employee Advantage Scheme

I am thinking of purchasing a sim only through the employee advantage scheme

when i go to buy, the only ones it lets me purchase are up to the £15 i gb data sim, i rang to ask as this surely cannot be the only options till the others come off the offer on the 31st of october ?

any advice on this as a few of us at work were looking at the £20 20gb one

1 ACCEPTED SOLUTION

well popped into my local vodafone shop and was told " the vea discount can definitely be applied to the red bundle deals that are on offer "

sat down with her and she showed me on screen what can be discounted and the £20 20gb bundled showed a price of £14

so i went ahead and got 2

hope this helps others out who can take advantage of this good deal at the minute

That's an individual decision. The last time I checked Vodafone's prices were more than competitive even at £37, which was the tariff I was on before I upgraded.

You seem to think that £37 is what is called an FMU - false mark up. It isn't and that's why it isn't a con. It was a genuine tariff.

The £20 tariff is a genuine tariff and not a discounted tariff as it does not show a before and after pricing status

You admitted that giffgaff throttle the data after 6GB.
Three have been putting restrictions as well.

So there must be reason you were looking at Vodafone. The top 3 tariffs at the moment have been the cheapest I have seen.
And Vodafone don't throttle it.

And because it doesn't work for you that gives you no right to accuse others of Bullying. All everyone has done is given you facts.

I am looking to Vodafone as they have 3 new tariffs that looked attractive with my vea discount ..........

Call Vodafone sales and ask them to put on the Tariff without the Discount. Then once that is active then you can apply for VEA discount.

I asked , he said it doesn't exist on the system anymore .
The best he could do was one month off

I wish I was Vodafone and had customers like you willing to get £37/£32/£27 tariff with 30% discount and £10 upfront and £25.90/£22.40/£18.90 every month, instead of the currently offered £25/£20/£17.

Hi @markharrop

My apologies for any confusion that's been caused.

What our CC's are advising you is correct, the £20 SIMO is currently on offer and so it isn't eligible for vea discount at the moment.

If you would like to apply your vea discount to any of our tariffs currently on offer, you would need to wait until the 31st October when the offers have finished.

Thanks,

Viki

Two chats last night ( chat got disconnected) assured in the chat that the vea discount would be applied after the order is put through . This is my problem. Who is right and who is wrong , 4 Vodafone representative 2 say discount will be applied 2 say it won't . Who is correct ?

The advice you’re getting here is correct.
