Your Vodafone Connect router is already running the latest firmware.

Could be they're restricting delivery to test the water. i.e. I'm one of their guinea pigs!
I'll attempt some tests if anyone has a question.
Point 1, I can't remember if specifying an external DNS server was available in the previous version, it is now. You can turn off DNS from Vodafone and set your own.

Hi,
My firmware is showing as 5.4.8.1.291.1.30.1.6 and the router hasn't rebooted in 80 days, so mine hasn't been updated. I tested anyway and the issue remains.
If there is a new firmware it may be a limited release.

My reboot came after I had an issue with the router hanging. It could be yours needs a reboot to activate the new version.
I've enabled my 5Ghz wifi and not had any issues with partitioning my networks with testing.

New router was updated to 5.4.8.1.291.1.30.1.6 on Tuesday automatically.
Since then my router has rebooted at least 8 times.
That's whole router reboots not just the ADSL PPP connection dropping.
Anyone else having issues ?

What's the firmware version number? I'm not sure that mine has updated.

Got alerted by this thread, and checked my router. Version 5.4.8.1.291.1.30.1.6 I didn't even know it had upgraded! Uptime since last reboot is 6 days, 13 hours.
