Vodafone K4505 Dongle - It's Not Working With Snow Leopard

Hi,

Can somebody help me out here ?
I have K4505 (non plug & play) USB stick and I am trying to make it work on Apple Macbook Pro (Mac OS 10.6.4 i.e. Snow Leopard).
I have downloaded VARIOUS MAC versions of VMB software and neither of them have made it work.
Following is what I have tried :
1) 4.01.11 (software installs ok. I can even get the Network attach. But on clicking 'connect' it seems to connect and then gives up)
2) 4.01.08 (software installs ok. I can even get the Network attach. But on clicking 'connect' it seems to connect and then gives up)
3) 4.01.07 (software installs ok. I can even get the Network attach. But on clicking 'connect' it seems to connect and then gives up)
4) 3.04.11 (software installs ok, but 'crashes' when I try to launch it )

Hello Mit and a warm welcome to the eForum.

The correct version of the software is definitely 4.01.11. Have you already confirmed that the usb modem itself works, i.e by testing it in another mac or a Windows PC?

Additionally please could you post your settings as they are in your network connections panel so we can try to form a comparison.
