Hi XxGothicNightxX,
Sorry to hear about your poor Mobile Broadband connection, I've had similar experiences with another provider in the past so know how you feel.
From the sounds of it, as this happens on two separate PCs, this is going to come down to one of three things.
1.A network problem in your area
2.A faulty SIM
3.A faulty modem
I've had a look at postcode in your profile and cannot see any problems in that area at the moment. Is this where you are experiencing the problem or is it elsewhere? If it is happening anywhere else then I'd recommend checking out our new Faults Board. Alternatively if you let me know the postcode I can have a more detailed look for you.
If everything is fine on the network then if possible I would advise you check the SIM in a Vodafone handset and try connecting to the internet that way. This will tell us if the problem lies with the SIM or the modem. If the problem lies with the SIM then we can easily get a new one sent out to you or alternatively your Local Vodafone Store could provide you with one free of charge.
If the problem does turn out to be with the modem itself then we should be able to get this repaired for you, details can be found on our Repairs Thread.
Hopefully that goes some way towards helping you, let me know how you get on

Thanks for the reply. I had a chat with customer services today and they told me how to refresh the sim by putting it into a handset and trying to access the internet. It worked for a while but just as i was about to sign out for the night i saw i had been diconnected from my instant messeging services.
Hopefully this was a trip up after a refresh and not a long time issue re-accuring again.
I'll keep this post up to date and tell you if i get disconnected again tommorow
Thanks again

Hi GothicNight,
Can you tell me if you've tried any of the suggestions in George's original post? These are still valid given that the problem is still there, so we'd still want to look at things like the postcode where the issue is happening, and trying a new SIM card, etc.
