Vodafone Mobile Broadband Software on OS X 10.10.1

Hello, can anyone help me

i have been using a K3565 broadband dongle on my mac in the past, successfully

i had misplaced it and found it again yesterday, i have tried to use it, as i know it has a good credit amount on it (PAYG)

the installed software on my mac however is a different story, it just opens and closes

i have de-installed and installed the last three versions, with no luck

each time i have de-installed, restarted and tried it again, with no luck, the app opens and closes just as quick

can anyone give me any advice please, i know its my mac, becuase the dongle works as it should on on windows laptop

As you’ve said that it hadn’t been used for a while, we’ll need to check if it's still active. If it’s been unused for a long time, it may have been deregistered.

the usb broadband dongle works as it should on my windows machine

my issue is i cannot get the software working on my macbook pro running OSX Yosemite 10.10.1

the latest version seems that it should work, but all it does is open and close, i cannot find any reference anywhere

to assist me, hense posting on this forum

short of reinstalling my software on mach (which i dont wnat to do), i am stuck

so i need help

Only way I could get mine to work is downloading the Huawei Mobile Partner software. It defaults to Vodafone UK after the dongle is plugged but fails to connect. I had to create a new profile with the APN as pp.internet. It connects ok but it is a long time since I used mine and I just get redirected to a top up page.
