Vodafone PAYG Mobile Broadband - Can I Get Clarification Of Top-up Costs

waterhd
Not applicable
I have purchased a PAYG dongle (blue one) which came with 3GB of data which can be used in 30 days.

I am now looking at the ongoing costs for this and have found conflicting information on the website. I have read in the terms and conditions that PAYG broadband customers can only top up at £15 per 1GB, but the advertising clearly states that it will cost £15 for 3GB topup with a 30 day expiry.

Also, I registered my device and went to top it up (just to see what the options were) - its now even more confusing as I have a drop down menu with options of £5, £10, £15, £20, £25, £30 etc.. stated as calling credit only with no mention whatsoever of how much data allowance I am purchasing.

Can someone verify the ongoing costs of this device and what option I should select to top it up, and what data I will get per month???

Very confused

Cheers
Dave.

Spoke to someone at Vodafone.

Apparently it is £15 for 1GB on the old dongles which have no expiry, and £15 for 3GB with a 30 day expiry on the new ones (blue ones)
The old ones are being phased out.

Just select £15 of "calling credit" when topping up and ignore all the other options (£5, £10, £20 etc) as only £15 will work.

Simple eh?!

Come on Vodafone, sort out the website which is spoiling quite a good mobile BB service.

Cheers
Dave.

Think its more a case of people accross the board can top up and not just PAYG dongle customers.

Im sure mobile phone users want to be able to top up as well.

My spirit might me strong buuut......

Hi waterhd

Thanks for the posts and welcome to the Vodafone eForum

As you've discovered yourself you can only top up with the £15 option for a dongle.

I'm guessing that you saw the top up options on line?

Nogg is spot on when saying that the other options are for the rest of our Pay As You Go users.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

Many thanks
