I have recently purchased VSS and am struggling to get it to work with my Sky router, all I get is a continuous red light?

Thanks for your post here.
Everything looks fine apart from the registration because the Sure Signal still hasn’t connected to our server.
Can you go through the port forwarding settings here and let me know how you get on.

Thanks you for the reply I am struggling to work out how to port forward? My router is a Sky SR101.
Which ports do I point ion which IP direction?

Hi Ross,
If you just have a red light showing it means your Sure Signal isn't connecting to the internet.
Do you have another ethernet cable you can try?
If possible, try connecting your Sure Signal to a different broadband connection too - everything at this end looks as it should so we need to try and diagnose the cause.

I have plugged another cable in and still nothing, the red light is still on.
I dont have another BB to connect it to.

I tried it over the weekend at a frioends house and get exactly the same just a red light?
Not sure what to do next?

Hi rossp76,
Thanks for the update and for trying your Sure Signal at your friend’s house.
As you saw the same issue – red light only – it would indicate that your unit is faulty so you’ll need to pop to a Vodafone store to send it for repair.
