Am having serious frustrations with linking the S Signal ( Alcatel Lucent plug in version ) to BTHH3. Am using BT Infinity which is using PPPOE and Voda say that S Signal is not compatible with this ? The S Signal was working fine until about 2 weeks ago and now all i get is solid red power light and flashing white internet . Speed test is fine and all ports requested by Voda are open. Although am in London have zero Voda signal without the S Signal box ... what can i do - please help?

Thanks - after 2 weeks of not working suddenly and apparently for no reason the Sure Signal box started working overnight . I dont know whether Voda or BT have changed anything but so far so good and the Sure Signal box is now working fine . I will revert if there is any repeat of the problems.

Hi Peter1952,
I honestly thought that things were sorted there...
That all looks OK, so i've done a resync. Can you try doing a reset fer me? If it doesn't work the first time, remove the Ethernet cable whilst you do it.
For Sure Signal version 1 or 2:
For Sure Signal version 3:

I have SS3 .. did what you requested but now have flashing red power light and lights 2 and 3 orange solid . This is becoming a real problem as have no confidence that i can get signal at home . We have 6 handsets with Voda and this is becoming an issue if i cant resolve reasonable quickly .
Thanks for any ideas.

Hi peter1952,
Can you check these extra things for me?
- Ensure the following router ports are open for forwarding: 8, 50, 123, 500, 1723, 4500.
- Ensure the Maximum Transmission Unit in the router settings is set to 1500. If it won't go that high, use the maximum it will allow.
- Try the cable in a different router port.
- Try an alternate cable.
- Are the Ethernet lights lit, flashing or off on the Sure Signal?
