Hi There - loving my ULTRA 6, but i can't get the notification LED to flash for missed calls, SMS, email etc.  I've checked all settings and carried out a factory reboot.  I'm using the Textra APP, which is set to flash the LED.  I've tried everything I can think of.  I can see on the Voda Ireland forum that others are having the same issue.  Any suggestions welcome please.

Note: The LED works ok for charging etc, so doesnt appear to be hardware related, more software.

Reading up on XDA someone has mentioned if you upon first use select restore from another google back up it breaks the notification, so you can either reset and start again but chose to do a fresh install but sign in as normal after it should work fine.

Yes, fixed it last night, go to modaco for full thread, you can fix it without reset by running moto notification widget. Not sure if allowed links here?

I upgraded to VDF-995NB01-UK_MR01b yesterday but battery drain is terrible with this latest update. Is there a way to roll back to VDF-995NB01-UK03c?

Hi. Did you do a factory reset after the update. That is often recommended and may help with your battery problem.

***SUCCESS***!

Followed advice of doing a factory reset,  but starting up WITHOUT using my existing Google account for recovery.  Then - when device booted up and ready for use - then - sign in with Google account to recover apps and settings.

I now have a flashing blue hypnotic LED for notifications!

Thanks everyone for your input!
