I ordered my iPhone6 when overseas and upgraded as on the website. Due for delivery on 19th. When received and opened, It did not work and after 1 hour using Live Chat I was told to go to a shop to sort it. I rang Vodafone (who record all calls for the training purposes so it can be verified) and was told the phone had been ordered as a new one and not an upgrade (lie 1) but admitted it was actually their fault when i pointed out how I ordered it. I was told it woudl need to be returned and a replacment sent out within 10 working days as there was no way the SIM and number details from my iPhone 5 could be transferred (lie 2)
I called the cancellation team and asked for my PAC code to go to EE. The man on the phone convinced me to stay and said he would get the numbers transferred in 20 minutes (lie 3) Two hours later I rang again and was promised it woudl be done as they always switch over at midnight (lie 4) and of courdse that did not occur.
I am currently overseas and cant use my iPhone 6 and have spent all afternoon trying to use Live Chat which is constantly busy. I now cant return the phone and go elsewhere as by the time I return the 14 day cooling off period will have ended. All because Vodafone got my order wrong and dont care about it - they have just lied to me. After all the years of loyaltly too.
