Vodafone price increase, contract cancellation?

If you’re an existing customer and you took up your contract between April 2014 and 5 May 2016, you’re still covered by there Fixed Price Promise and there ill be no change to your monthly contract.

Personally  I can't recall signing any agreement with them and if I did it was 10+ years ago when I got my first phone offf them. My upgrades have always been over the phone so nothings been signed. I can't recall them telling me over the phone either that I may be liable for any mid term price rises.

Do you think I'm liable for these rises???

Have I the right to ask them to PROVE I agreed to such conditions???

I'm afraid that will only increase your problems and not get rid of them. If you fail to pay Vodafone will engage debt collectors to chase you, default the contract, and put a default on your credit history. A high price to pay to protest against something that you have actually already agreed to.

@Ste1982 The increase in price you've mentioned is in regards to  RPI (Retail Price Index) and all phone providers have this in place. As mentioned in this thread, you can find more information in our terms and conditions.

If you did wish to leave due to this price increase, you'd be required to pay the full remaining price of your contract, if you're still in commitment.
