My phone has completely stopped working following updating over Thursday night. Went to vodaphone shop yesterday and they say it was Facebook and would get sorted later. Still not working today. Can't swip to log in and it's not receiving calls either. Tried a hard reset but that won't work either. HELP. Use this for work and personal so really need to get it going today

Phone is completely frozen so can't remove the app

Can you try a hard reset once more.

If no help then I'd suggest taking it to a Vodafone store and have them take a look / send it off.
"Also make sure when sending your device for repair that you keep hold of your SIM. You also shouldn't send your memory cards, battery and/or back cover (if they're removable) - if these are included with your phone when it goes for repair we can't guarantee their return."
Take Time / Date stamped pictures of the device to show the condition you sent it back in and one of it turned on if you can
Ensure the Vodafone rep notes its condition on their computer.

X thanks. Tried the hard reset again, still won't work. Guess I'm off to the vodaphone shop now. Thanks for your help and other comments.

Just in case anyone else has the same problem it's the Facebook app that's causing the problem. Since the upgrade it is no longer compatible with smart ultra. 6. App removed and all working well again. Have to wait for FB to resolve the issue before using the app again.
