Sent my Samsung s8 off for repair the second time, Just read the repair details in the track my repair site and it says.....VRet: Send to JTAG/Cal/BGA. Anyone know what this means? Fault was a dodgy 4g outgoing call problem.

Hi.
Ive seen a few 'repair codes' in my time but no those unfortunatley.
They'll be in-house use only abbreviations. Normally which repair house its at , warranty status, firmware reset and parts requirement etc.
Hopefully your Samsung will come back fixed. If not maybe try a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre location.
Best of luck.

I just know what the outcome of events will be, I'll end up with the phone back, being told to take to it a Samsung centre, which is miles away. If I buy a car, I take it to the dealer to repair, I dont take it back to the factory. As it is under 6 months old it is up to Vodafone to prove it was not faulty when sold to me, so why dont they just replace it, I have had nothing but hassle with Vodafone over the years and stuck with them because I get company discount. The 20% just aint worth the hassle. I'm off to O2 or ee come end of contract and taking all 3 lines with me as the contracts expire

@markb1604 We have to inspect your phone to see the route cause of the problem.
Once we've done this our repair team will contact you with their findings.
We'll do our best to return your device by the agreed date, which we gave you when you booked the repair.
You can track the progress of the repair online using your repair booking reference number.
Please let us know once you've had a update and we can advise you further

Do let us know the outcome, I'm guessing the same, some BS story that will mean VF can wriggle their way out of honouring a warranty.
