I have a vodafone dongle which I only pay a few quid a month for for 250mb data. I only need it as a back-up for wi-fi failures when I need to send photographs. However, this month I got a £15 bill for usage yet when I looked at my usage it said I had used none of my 250mb data but had charges for a total of 67mb. Question is, why does that not come out of my usage? Is it something to do with whether I'm picking up 3G or 2G signals? I don;t see the point in me paying monthly if I'm going to get clobbered for charges so hopefully a little education can help me!

Hi gdot,
It makes no difference to your allowance if you are using 2G or 3G.
I am a little confused by this charge, if you’ve not used any allowance.
So we can get this checked, you can see how to contact the team here.
