Where Do I Find My Account Number or PIN?

There might be a really obvious answer I'm missing, but I'm trying to register for the online services & am being asked for my account number or PIN. As far as I know, I don't have either?

I received the iPhone 4 on Friday and my number just became active today (after porting from O2), but the only kind of reference number I seemed to have on any email or even the documentation that came with the phone is the order number, beginning with 'o'.

If anyone can help, I'd be very grateful!

You can find out how to request your account number on our Top Ten Vodafone Questions. The easiest way is to text the word ACCOUNT + your full postcode to 97886. Should you be unable to use this service, you can also use the e-mail link provided in the Top Ten Questions and we'll e-mail the account number to you.

 

We're unable to e-mail your PIN number as we don't have full access to PIN numbers for obvious security reasons.

Hi all,
I'm trying to follow the instrauctions to get my pin but NONE of them has worked for the past 2 days:
- the text message replies i dont have priviledges to do that
- the email link takes me to a page where an "access denied" message shows up
- on the phone the operators either dont answer or tell me to follow the above two steps

Furthermore, I filled the form for the portability of my old number and the 3 days maximum limit has passed.

What in god's name is going on with all this, i dont know. it shouldn't be so damn difficult, and in a couple of days my PAC code expires and i'll have to pay a double bill, to vodafone and my old provider.
I'm sorry, but this is completely unacceptable. this is the largest mobile company in the world and that's the best you can do!?

ive just got the sony ericcson xperia arc on pay monthly and i text 'account' to 97886 and it said the same to me about not bein eligible for upgrade,can you send me an e-mail or do something so i can access my account? thanks danny

Hiya. I'm having the same problem. It asked me for account number and account pin when I went to register this afternoon after receiving my new phone on vodafone this morning, but i never got a letter telling me these things. And when I texted I got the same "not eligible to upgrade" text...

I am trying to sign up for my vodafone freebee rewardz. I have been putting all my points on the computer and i now want to sign up to redeem some of my prizes but i have a problem. I have a Blackberry 8520 and when i enter my phone number its giving me a security code i enter it and them told i have to enter either a PIN number or my date of birth. I dont know whether i have a pin number seeing as my mum and dad bought me the phone. Would the date of birth be under them even though I have tried it none of our date of births will work what do i do ?? :smileyfrustrated:

I have just text the number and it said that my postcode is not registered to my account!!! It is the right one - the phone was sent here fine! I need my account number so i can manage my account. I have just moved from orange and am staggered at how difficult it is to do something as simple as register online. not a good start!
