Z10 and sound in maps

My Z10 has 10.3.1.1779 and since upgrading to OS 10.x there is no sound with maps from the phone or through my Jabra device.

Also, the screen goes blank during the journey unless I keep touching the screen, or restart maps.

I have looked around the net and nothing seems to fit my phone.

Thanks for your post. 

It's not an issue I've seen, it may be a new feature as part of the update. 

I'd recommend preforming a factory reset, please remember to back up any data that you don't want to lose.

This is not an uncommon problem but it seems looking around that various BB forums that one fix does not work on allBB  phones.

This worked OK before I upgraded to OS 10 so a factory reset will only put me back to pre OS 10. That is not an answer.

Performing a factory reset will still prompt software updates.

There's less chances of hicuups occurring if the phone memory is clear, so updating after a reset can be beneficial.

You'll be able to restore your files and accounts once the update has completed.
