has anyone moved from BB 10 to iphone 6

Today is delivery day. So guys. Has anyone taken the plunge? How did you get all your data, contact, everything from SD card ( I have hundreds of pics) to the iphone? My calender is on Gmail but not contacts. Maybe as I use btinternet as email default

See Section 3 in this link http://m.wikihow.com/Back-Up-Your-Contacts-with-an-Android-Phone,-Gmail-or-Moborobo on how to back up contacts to gmail. You can then key in your gmail account into the iPhone and download them.

There are a few avenues to move data from your blackberry to the iPhone. Google for more info.

I regularly back up to BB Link so hope that I can use that option. I guess I di a final back up before I go on line and swap SIM. then connect iPhone to iTunes and hope I can sync contacts. With regards to sd card I have a reader so presumably load up to PC and then somehow to iPhone?

So in the end I took the gmail option for contacts and calendar. All good Now for photos and videos. I've copied them onto a Dropbox on my PC. Any ideas how to get them onto the iPhone please

Get the dropbox app from the App Store

Ok. I've looked for Dropbox free? Is that correct as nothing much happens. I pressed the cloud and it loaded but nothing on my home screen. And when I do have it what do I do next please?

It depends on how many photos there are. You can download them on to the iPhone but only one at a time. To do this find a photo and view it. At the top of the screen to the right you'll see a box with an up arrow in it. Press on that and a menu will appear at the bottom of the screen with a variety of options and one of them is 'save image'. That will do exactly what it says and add it to the camera roll on the phone.

If there are lots of photos that could take some time. In that case you should use iTunes to sync the photos from your computer to the phone. iTunes is the principal method of getting data from a computer on to the phone.

There are hundreds.  So I have gotthem from my BB to a dropbox on my PC.  How do I now get them onto the iphone?  I connect the iphone to the pc and itunes will open.  What next please?  Yes I am that thick.  Sorry.

Not thick - just not experienced with iPhones and there's no reason why you should be. Everything with computers and smart phones is counter intuitive in my experience.

  Synced.  It says my photos are in iclould and can be accessed from any wifi or mobile device.  So how can I access from the phone please?
