About OverDrive
OverDrive provides libraries with a custom built website that they can then purchase eBooks and audiobooks, and allow patrons to borrow from, using their existing library card. Learn more here: http://company.overdrive.com
The problem being reported
Users of https://ryde.overdrive.com are reporting that when attempting to visit the website on their mobile devices using the Vodafone network (either in their browser, or via our app), they receive error messaging typically displayed when not all web elements are able to load. When using home wifi, the site/app works as expected. We have only received reports from the City of Ryde, but this could potentially be affecting other customers across the UK. Some examples of their websites are https://aberdeenshirelibraries.overdrive.com, https://bromley.overdrive.com, https://west-dunbarton.overdrive.com and https://llc.overdrive.com. As you can see, each customer has a different selection of titles, and they vary from childrens books to romance titles.
If the site, or elemts of the site are being blocked, please review and whitelist the following:
*.overdrive.com
*.libraryreserve.com
*.contentreserve.com
*.cdn.overdrive.com
*.od-cdn.com

@natasha, thenks for the reply here. When using our app, the user doesn't have access to the address bar to make any URL changes. Even if they did remove the HTTPS by going through a browser, we would simply redirect and apply it. I have another CDN domain to ask you to confirm is, or is not blocked: od-cdn.com. Please can you confirm on that? Thanks!

@overdrive I've tried accessing the address you've provided using the Google Chrome browser on my phone and was faced with a DNS error.
It stated 'od-cdn.com's server DNS address could not be found.'
Please make sure the address you've provided is correct.

@tom, the *.od-cdn.com isn't a page users navigate to, it's where site assets that power our websites live. The address is correct, but I didn't include the * (wildcard) in my early post. Please can you confirm that is, or is not being blocked, and white list it? Thanks!

@tom, curious if you have an update to share here. Thanks in advance!

Hi @overdrive, we've tested all of the domains you've provided us with through our own personal Vodafone devices and are receiving no errors.
As we're unable to replicate the error messages that you've described, we'd need a screenshot of the error so we can investigate this further.

@natasha, thanks. I am working to get that but no luck so far. While I'm waiting on that, can you confirm that the *.od-cdn.com domain is not blocked?

@overdrive Please provide us with the exact URL so we can check.

@rahim,
As we're talking about a CDN, and it's delivering images/scripts, the exact URL can be any number of things. The * indicates a wild card, but the actual domain will be od-cdn.com. So, as an example but not something I would expect you to see, magicscript.od-cdn.com/scriptmagicpath.file.
I'd really like to resolve this asap, so maybe someone can contact me directly with a phone number to call and we can resolve that way? I'm -5 hours here in the US. Thanks.

Hi. Just been reading this thread and using the address in post one I have been able to access the area with no problems.
