updated my software a few days ago and no longer have 3G. have reset mobile data network settings but still doesn't work. Can anyone help?

tried it again this am and it's now working ok.
texting WEB to 40127 and update settings, wait until next day ... seems to do the trick.

Did you manage to try your SIM card in another phone as a process of elimination as the next step ?
