iPhone 6 bt wifi issue

Called tech support x3 no joy - been into the Leicester shop and spoke to branch manager (not interested! Very surprised!!!) since porting my number I can't log into BT wifi - told by shop its Openzone when I tried that option - still no joy so returned to shop - total apathy!! Disgusted - anyone else know how to resolve it as Vodaphone tech help and shop staff don't?

Yes last week I went into Leiceater Apple Store - guess what? No issue - more over based on the fact I've had issues since porting and opening the account they say the issue probably arose when the account was set up! Touché isn't that was IVE said all along to be told there was no problem then three weeks later VODAFONE admitted there was and its STILL NOT resolved

Oh and add to the fact I can log in to store and other wifi bases with no issue!

UPDATE After nearly three months of being a customer - dealing with over 20 Vodafone personnel, countless emails and getting OFCOM a involved - being told its My Fault all the time - hey presto! Vodafone finally admit - VODAFONE HANDY SET UP THE ACCOUNT PROPERLY X2!!! Thanks Vodafone for believing in me from day one (NOT)
Note to Vodafone NOT ALL YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE WRONG!!! Start believing in them and you may solve problems in less than Three months without have to resort to Ofcom!! Now waiting to hear what Vodafone are finally going to do to put this issue to bed!

Hi @David_i_evans,

 

You've mentioned login details, to clarify, you don't need any login infomation at all to use BT Wi-Fi with your phone.

 

Just turn on Wi-Fi and you'll automatically connect to a BT Wi-fi Premium Hotspot.

 

I suspect that the issue lies with the fact you're not connecting to a premium hotspot, only these are elibigle.

 

You can find all the ones that are eligible on our My Vodafone app.

This is exactly the same issue I have.

 

I try to login with My Vodafone username (my email) and password to BT WiFi (only the ones where I can pick "Vodafone" from the drop-down menu) and I cannot login.

I also tried for weeks to get help.

 

Can you please help me?

Sadly Alfonso Vodafone couldn't resolve it - they said that I had no BT WiFi because my account didn't include it - then I proved it did x 2! Then I said my account wasn't set up properly by them - after a month or so they admitted the issue x 2 but couldn't resolve it so now the case is with the ombudsman where Vodafone will have to stop saying I'm at fault and deal with the issue!

it's a long standing issue - best advice? Contact the ombudsman

i cannot log in either, i get the error message "as a pre pay customer you need an active data bundle please contact 191" it used to work fine up until 8 weeks ago. numerous calls to 191 have not sorted it. customer service is very poor with no call backs or updates, ombudsmen here i come!!!
