iPhone 6 bt wifi issue

Called tech support x3 no joy - been into the Leicester shop and spoke to branch manager (not interested! Very surprised!!!) since porting my number I can't log into BT wifi - told by shop its Openzone when I tried that option - still no joy so returned to shop - total apathy!! Disgusted - anyone else know how to resolve it as Vodaphone tech help and shop staff don't?

I have been given 4 different stories of for a technical issue in connecting to BTWiFi - since new! Still no joy - in addition I have been promised call backs - FAILED x3 False info x 4 - been asked for make and model of phone x 12 - VODAFONE SUPPLIED IT!!!! Any wonder I regret even being part of the Vodafone family???

The BTWifi is only available on very Limited number of Hotspots.

If you have the Vodafone App, that will automatically log you onto the Premium Hotspots that are allowed.

 

I wish BT would not have the option of selecting Vodafone on Hotspots that are not allowed. Showing the Vodafone logon screen and then failing is what Furstrates people.

 

Have you tried the Underground Wifi? Does that work?

 

I've even been in a Vodafone shop where they get BTWiFi and still no joy - it's an isse Vodafone haven't sorted for over two weeks - how long do they need to sort out a simple issue? NOT ACCEPTABLE

Failure to call a customer back is not a BT issue 😞

VODAFONE have had this issue long enough now - there deleted my account twice - after finally admitting it was set up wrong!! Guess what though - I STILL CANNOT access the BT Openzone .... Next stop Ofcom And no contact re putting in a complait - very very poor service - about to upgrade? - Avoid avoid avoid

What device are you using and what OS version? Also did this work before ported to Vodafone? Where in the country are your from and do you know if others on Vodafone can connect to the BT openzone?

 

I know you may have answered the questions before to Vodafone but with these i may be able to help. You also say you know its not a BT issue but i think it is, Vodafone and the other networks dont own the hotspots or even the login servers your using. My initial thought is that if it worked on a differnet network then you old network details have not been cleared by BT so when Vodafone are trying to set you up (VF use your MSISDN and online account details) it is causng an issue.

I could connect to BT using a different account but was asked to wipe my network settings clear VODAFONE told me BT wifi was on my account and four weeks later admitted it wasn't!im using is OS 8.1.2 and apart from using my partners BT account in the early days have NEVER been able to connet to BT
I do ubderata what you say about BT servers but for them to give access they must have the right information passed to them - remember VODAFONE had said for weeks they had passed the information then admitted it wasn't ... In fed up being in the middle!!! I've been into VODAFONE shops only to be fobbed off time and time again - even when they're in a BT hotspot
So if it is a BT issue then why can I connect using another persons log in and not mine?? How do I know the right account details have been set up? And YES MY ACCOUNT has been deleted and set up again x2!

I did - see above your comment appreciate help but VODAFONE havenow reset my account twice and I've tried again to be told yet again the same message - username n password not recognised from the VODAFONE login on the BT page yet I can log in to my VODAFONE account fine
(Removed in line with House Rules) how come no one can sort it if it that simple??? My bet? The porting went wrong and I've had niggles so any wonder?
