hello,

I purchased a new contract through Vodafone yesterday and in short my Iphone 6 plus will not switch on (and yes i have tried everything).

Will Vodafone exchange my new phone, seeing as i have had it less than 24 hrs.

 Many thanks

John

Great advice from @BandOfBrothers

Just to add to that...
You have a 14 day unconditional return/cancel policy on your side.
The 14 days is inclusive of the day you receive the phone.
If for any reason you are not happy, simply arrange a replacement or even cancel and arrange something else.

Never hold onto a faulty phone hoping it will get sorted.

Hi

Can you clarify what you've tried.

Ie On the iPhone hold down the Sleep/Wake Button and Home button together until the Apple Logo shows. Then On seeing this Apple Logo release both buttons ,and the iPhone will reset , which has been known to clear most glitches.

Can you try another another wall charger and cord just incase the iPhone's battery is dead and the charger is at fault.

Hook up to iTunes and try that way.

If these don't work then yes Vodaphone should swap it out. Contact them asap.

Thanks for the response but I have tried all that and possibly more. It just does not work. I have never seen an iPhone do this before. I will nip out today and take it back. Women in the shop couldn't exchange the phone yesterday as she didn't know how to.

Cheers again

Cheers for the response. I'm not willing to hold onto this phone as its faulty from the off.

Many thanks
