iPhone 6s + 64gb Rose Gold order denied

Hi, I went into a Vodafone store today and wanted to upgrade to the iPhone 6s + 64gb in  Rose Gold. I was told I could not order this phone, instead I had to go with the gold version hastily (which isn't really what I want). It seems too much hassle to now  to cancel the order.

How easy is it to change this phone after it's arrived for the other colour or am I stuck with it now. Pretty annoyed as the store staff said I could NOT order this phone now. But the live chat said I could have ordered it on there no problem.

Where do I stand with trying to get the phone in the colour I actually wanted? It's too much money tospend for something I didn't really want.

Hi, once you receive your phone you have a 14 day cooling off period in which you can return the phone by the method you obtained it and order the one you want.

What was the reason for being "denied" the colour you wanted ?

 

Stock availability?

 

To choose the colour you do want please ensure you'll need to start again which is by first returning the iPhone you have within the 14 day cooling off period from when you took ownership of the phone. 

 

Then after that's returned and booked back in and the systems updated to allow a new order you'll be able to start again.

I wasn't really given a reason why I couldn't have it, it can't really be stock availability as it's available online.

All this returning and then re-upgrading seems a lot of hassle especially from the store I got the phone from as it wasn't the best. And as the phones not in my name it means dragging my partner with me and he hates it doing most things.

Looks like i'm stuck with the gold iphone if there's no easy way to resolve it from home!

Thankyou anyway was just worth checking incase I could just have swapped it without having to cancel my whole contract etc etc.

I can only think that's the colour they had in nearest to the one you were interested in. 

 

Of course it's up to you but it does sound like your heart was set on that particular colour. I'd say you have 14 days to see if you can stick with the current colour and if not act before the fourteenth day.

They didn't have the gold in stock either, paid and ordered it and they didn't even say when it'll be estimated to be in store. Just a case of waiting until they contact us to say its arrived 😞 

It might be alright in the gold colour I hope, just more annoyed at the staffs lack of competence when dealing with my upgrade.

Hmmm I'd be looking to change to the colour I wanted and not what was offered. (But that's me)

 

Whichever colour you decide on I must say its a good choice of phone. 😉
